Two Ni-Vanuatu Women Referees Appointed to Officiate OFC Womens World Cup Qualification

Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) has appointed 2 ni-vanuatu woman
referees to officiate the OFC womens World Cup qualification
tournament in New Zealand. The two woman referees are Leisale Solomon
from Efate Island, and Assistant referee Mari Napuk from Tanna, Tafea
Province.

The 2 referees have been attending OFC referee courses last year and
this is a big achievement for them to participate in officiating the
OFC Womens World Cup Qualification tournament.

Leisale and Marie flew out of the country last sunday and today they
will go through some fitness tests with other women referees before
the tournament starts.

The countries participating in the OFC Womens World Cup Qualification
tournament are American Samoa, Cook Islands, New Zealand and Tonga.

VFF wishes Marie and Leisale all the best in their tests and a good
tournament in Auckland, New Zealand.
