Academy new Futsal court

A new futsal court will be open soon at the Vanuatu Football Federation Academy at Teouma to help upgrade the standard of futsal in Vanuatu. VFF announces that the new facility dedicated to Futsal will focus in youth futsal development and bringing an established and proven approach to futsal skills development in Vanuatu.   John Kupa the Academy caretaker said, "It is good that we have a futsal court at the Academy."Our players who like to play futsal will no longer have to play on the grass but now on the real futsal pitch."   Moise Poida national U 20 said, "FUTSAL is about developing players." "Simply, it is the way the world plays indoor soccer."   "We are excited to bring FUTSAL to our academy and hope next year, Academy will have one or two futsal teams in the league in Port Vila."   "This is an opportunity to have top quality players who play real futsal and represent Vanuatu in OFC tournament." He concluded.   Vanuatu Football Federation would like to thank FIFA Goal Project to fund the court and thank Oceania Football Confederation for the great support in making the dream of having a Futsal court at the Teouma Academy came through. ---------------------------------------------------------
