TVL presented 1 million vatu towards Wantok U15 Tournament. A presentation was made on Monday 11th January by Jean Dennis Poullain, TVL Chief Commercial and Marketing Officer to VFF Officer, Mr. John Bongnaim at the Telecom House in Port Vila. In his speech, Mr. Jean Dennis Poullain said, "TVL is always proud to sponsor football in the country especially kids programs because they are the future of football in Vanuatu".
The TVL Wantok U15 Tournament kicks-off tomorrow afternoon at the Port Vila Stadium with countries like Solomon Islands and New Caledonia participating in the tournament. Vanuatu has 3 teams, Vanuatu Olympic Squad, Vanuatu North and Vanuatu South selection.
There are possibilities that the TVL Wantok tournament will be an annual event and other wantok countries left out can also participate.
TVL is one of the big telecommunication companies in Vanuatu and this is not the first time it has donated funds towards football development in the country.
