Tafea Captain Unhappy About the Draw

Tafea captain, Fredy Vava is unhappy about the draw with Marist F.C. this afternoon at the PVM Stadium.

Vava and his team mates have missed a lot of good opportunities this afternoon when none of their close range chances were converted to goals.

"I am not happy about the outcome of the game. The boys should have scored some goals, but we missed them", he said.

"We wish to apologise to fans and our supporters for the poor results. "We know many fans have come to watch us win but unfortunately we have not performed to their expectations".

Over 6000 fans have come to watched the game today.

The draw placed Tafea 8 points behind Lautoka F.C. with 9 points.

Meanwhile Marist captain, Abraham Iniga said he is happy with the draw because they now have a point on the table.

He wishes to thank his supporters this afernoon and those who were following the match live on radio, TV and especially of wantoks in Solomon Islands who were following on the internet.

Abraham Iniga missed the only opportunity for Marist when he missed a penalty shot.

However he is still happy with the results and the teams' performance.

"The game we played against Tafea today, we will do the same when we meet Hekari United in 2 weeks time", said Abraham Iniga.
