The Vanuatu government, in a meeting with FIFA/OFC representatives said they are prepared to assist the Vanuatu Football Federation carry out their projects.
The statement was made by Honorouble Raphael Worwor, Vanuatu's Minister for Youth and Sports during a meeting last week in Auckland, New Zealand.
Minister Raphael who was recently appointed as Minister responsible for Youth and Sports said he now sees the importance of football because it is not only a sport but also a tool to develop a nation's economy.
Honourable Worwor, confirmed the governement stance on football development in the country and emphasised its committment to address issues discussed during the talks.
