Ken Memorial Cup updates 28/01/10 - Batram and Fenedy Upsets Tupuji

Solomon Islands international imports and counterparts in Amicale are blending well in their team work. This can be measured by the 3 goals they put behind Tupuji Imere's goal this evening in the final rounds of the Ken Memorial Cup tournament.

The opening score came from a penalty awarded to Tupuji Imere F.C. which Tony Chilia took no chance but send the Imere supporters with joy.

The second goal was a perfect ball work from Batram Suri to Fenedy Masauvakalo and keeper Tony Mansale stand helpless but watch the equalizer.

A moment the crowd was waiting for was when Batram hit the Amicale's leading goal by a brilliant hat-trick with a powerful shot. It was his 3rd goal that evening approved by FIFA referee, Bruce George. 2 goals by Batram were rejected.

In the second half of the game, another superb performance by Batram again with a perfect ball chip over the Tupuji defenders to find Fenedy again who made no mistake but hit the third goal.

A lot of football fans have commented on the match as the best ever watched game of the tournament so far, especially the Amicale 'solo vanuatu remix'.

After their loss to Academy last weekend by 3 goals to 1, they came back tonight and display an excellent game and great team work.

End of the game Amicale F.C. defeats Tupuji Imere F.C. by 3 goals to 1.
