The Vanuatu Under 20 football team who are currently in the Port Vila premiere league are touring New Caledonia for preparations before football season starts in two weeks time. The team is well known as the Vanuatu Acadamy team and are in the 7th position in PVFA classment. The team is leaving tomorrow, 8th January for a week and will return on the 15th of January.
Head coach for the Vanuatu U20 team, Mr. Moise Poida said, "The team has not been preparing for the game, however we are trying our best to put the team together and so far so good, we have adjusted ourselves and happy with the outcome before we head down to Noumea".
The U20 team will play 4 games in New Caledonia from 9th to 4th January 2010.
