Port Vila Football supports Amical FC

Port Vila Football Association (PVFA) made a very generous donation to Amical football Club this week with a cheque of 200 000 vatu. PVFA President Sowany Joseph handed over the cheques to Andrew Leong, Amical Team manager in Port Vila on Wednesday.

Sowany Joseph, PVFA President said, "We are honored to be able to donate the money to our top club in Vanuatu to help them prepare for the O League." We strongly believe that Amical FC has a good team and on behalf of Football players and fans in Port Vila I want to wish the team all the best of luck."

Andrew Leong Amical FC team manager said "It is fantastic to see that Port Vila Football Association so pro-active in their efforts and to see such support from them to my club."

" I am are very proud of our achievements last season to be the new champion of Vanuatu and the hard work of a lot of people connected with the club has also led to on-field success."

He said, "Amical FC will never give up and will play with pride for their Football Association (PVFA) Vanuatu Football Federation (VFF) and play for the people of Vanuatu. The team is fit, strong and ready to play Hekari on the 23rd October 2010 in Papua New Guinea."
